PerioChip

A PerioChip is a small chip that releases an antimicrobial substance directly into your tooth
pocket. Together, with scaling and root planning, PerioChip is an effective therapy to reduce
adult periodontitis.

Inserted in less than 1 minute
Dissolves completely, with no return visit for removal.
Brush and floss daily, but do not floss for 10 days around the tooth treated with a
PerioChip.
No dietary restrictions are necessary.

Dental Implants are the preferred treatment to replace missing teeth and in many cases the
preferred treatment to support full or partial dentures. Replacing one or more missing teeth
with traditional fixed bridgework requires the cutting down of neighboring teeth to support the
fixed bridgework. This is a well accepted treatment to replace missing teeth, but Dental
Implants may be a better treatment.
